Where is Pemberton?

Pemberton is a village municipality north of Whistler in the Pemberton Valley of British Columbia. Located a scenic 20-minute drive from Whistler and 158km from Vancouver, it is a beautiful, authentic mountain town with incredible landscape and a warm community.

What is there to do?

Pemberton is well-known as one of Canada’s finest year-round outdoor recreation destinations. Sports enthusiasts, tourists, and adventurers often visit Pemberton during the summer months to indulge in everything from biking, camping, golfing and horseback riding to rafting, jet boating, swimming, and of course hiking.

Parts of that wilderness have been made accessible so that visitors of all ages and abilities can experience all that Pemberton has to offer. Pemberton also hosts a number of events throughout the year, notably The Pemberton Music Festival, Ironman Canada, along with the Slow Food Cycle, a celebration of food, farmers, and the joys of biking!

Where is the best place to live?

The Pemberton neighbourhoods each have something to offer homebuyers. Each with their own feel, they range from the vibrant town centre, to remote outlying areas like Birken and D’Arcy. Property types here come in all shapes and sizes, from condos, to family homes, to chalets with acreages. The Village is the heart of Pemberton, with all the amenities you could possibly need and is ideal for those looking to be at the centre of the action, while still enjoying the benefits of a small town feel.

Located just outside the Village is The Meadows. Situated along the Lillooet River, surrounded by farm and equestrian land, you will find some impressive properties. Homes here tend to come with a lot of land, and are perfect for those looking for a large home in a quiet area.
